How It All Started
We started small. We still care the same way.
Angels On Duty began as a small service with one goal: to make disability support feel more human. Not clinical. Not transactional. Just real, genuine care delivered by people who actually give a damn.
What started as a local team supporting a handful of participants in Ipswich has grown into one of South East Queensland’s most trusted NDIS providers. We’ve expanded our services, grown our team, and reached more participants across Brisbane, the Lockyer Valley, and the Gold Coast. But the way we show up for people hasn’t changed.
We still take the time to understand what someone actually needs rather than assuming we already know. We still build support around real lives, not templates. And we still believe that the best thing we can do for any participant is listen first, then act.
Our Approach
What sets us apart is our inclusive approach to care.
A lot of providers say they’re person-centred. We try to actually be it.
That means building support plans around real lives, not templates. It means matching participants with support workers who are the right fit, not just whoever is available. It means being flexible when circumstances change, and being honest when something isn’t working.
We work alongside our participants, not ahead of them. Their goals shape everything we do.
